PopVapor is an editorial guide to pod vapes in the UK. We started it in 2026, after the UK's ban on single-use vapes changed how most people vape. Disposables were gone, and a lot of people were left working out pod kits, refillable pods and nic salts for the first time. We write plain-English guides to help with that.
We don't sell anything. There's no shop, no basket and no buy buttons, and we don't link to retailers. The guides and the flavour library are here to help you understand what's out there and what suits you.
Who writes it
PopVapor is edited by Rhys Calloway. Rhys is a former smoker who went from cigarettes to disposables and then on to pod kits, so he's been through the same switch a lot of our readers are making. He writes and updates the guides and looks after the flavour library.
We're a small operation, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Editorial policy
Every guide is built from sources we can point to.
- Manufacturer specifications. Pod sizes, battery details and features come from manufacturers' own published information. Models change often, so we name kits as examples rather than rankings, and we tell you to check the current version.
- UK law from the source. Legal facts, such as the single-use vape ban and the limits on nicotine strength and bottle size, are checked against legislation.gov.uk and official GOV.UK guidance. We link to those sources in the guides.
- Hands-on use where stated. If a guide is based on using a product ourselves, we say so. If it isn't, we don't imply that it is.
We don't publish made-up reviews, star ratings, test scores or statistics. If we can't verify something, we leave it out.
What we don't do
- We don't make health claims about vaping.
- We don't give medical or legal advice. Our guides explain the rules, but your situation might need a professional.
- We don't accept payment to include or rank products.
- We don't write for anyone under 18. Vaping products are for adults only.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to know. Use the contact page to tell us what's wrong and, if you can, where you found the right information. We check every correction against the original source. When we fix a page, we update the date shown on it.
A note about this domain
The popvapor.uk domain previously belonged to a different business, POP Vapor UK, which sold vaping products. That business isn't connected with this site in any way.
