Cool Mint

MintOriginally POP Stix
Unbranded pod kit with the ingredients that make up Cool Mint

If you want a vape that tastes of nothing but cold mint, this is the one. Mint is also one of the easiest flavours to find in pod form since the disposable ban.

Cold, clean and not very sweet

Cool mint starts with peppermint on the inhale. There is a little sweetness, but far less than a fruit or candy flavour. The exhale is the main event: a sharp chill that clears your mouth and lingers for a few seconds. Heavier mixes can feel almost like an ice cube.

It tends to suit people who used to smoke menthol cigarettes, and anyone who vapes alongside coffee and wants something that does not clash. It also works as a palate reset if you rotate between fruit pods.

The POP Stix Cool Mint

POP Vapor UK listed Cool Mint in its POP Stix disposable range. According to the archived product page, it was a no-button device with up to 600 puffs and 2% salt nicotine, which is 20mg/ml. The page did not give the tank size or battery capacity.

Like every single-use vape, it has been illegal to sell in the UK since 1 June 2025. You will not find POP Stix in UK shops now, and this page is a flavour guide, not a shop.

Moving cool mint over to a pod

Mint is one of the easiest flavours to replace because almost every pod brand makes one.

  • Prefilled pod kits take sealed pods that you click in and throw away when empty. Look for "cool mint", "polar mint" or "fresh mint" in the range. Each pod holds no more than 2ml, as UK rules require.
  • Refillable pod kits let you pour in your own 10ml nic salt. That gives you far more mint options and a lower running cost.

On strength: the POP Stix used 20mg/ml nic salt, which is the UK legal maximum. That is a good starting point if you are coming straight from disposables. Some people drop to 10mg after a few weeks, especially on pod kits with stronger draw.

A small note on cooling. If a mint pod feels harsh rather than fresh, it is often the strength and the cooling agent stacking up. Trying the same flavour at a lower nicotine level often fixes it without losing the chill.

  • Prefilled pod

Titan Pro Cool Mint prefilled pod

Carries the same flavour name. A sensible first stop if you want to keep things simple.

  • Prefilled pod

IVG Smart Max Polar Mint prefilled pod

A colder, more menthol-forward take. Good if you liked cool mint mainly for the chill.

  • 10ml nic salt for a refillable pod kit

Elux Legend Fresh Mint nic salt

A cleaner mint for people who refill. Pairs well with a basic mouth-to-lung pod kit.

Questions people ask

What is the difference between cool mint and spearmint?

Cool mint is usually peppermint-based with extra cooling, so it tastes sharper and colder. Spearmint is softer and slightly sweet, more like chewing gum.

Is cool mint the same as menthol?

Not quite. Menthol flavours focus on the cold sensation with very little mint taste. Cool mint keeps a clear peppermint flavour and adds the chill on top.

Will cool mint taste the same in a refillable pod as it did in a disposable?

It will be close, but pods and coils change things. A lower resistance coil gives a warmer vape, which can make mint feel less icy. A standard mouth-to-lung coil around 1.0 ohm keeps it crisp.
